Get the result

Poll every few seconds until status is succeeded or failed. Output URLs are provider-hosted and may expire — download them promptly. Or pass callback_url to get the result pushed.

Cancel a task

Cancellation depends on provider support and task state. A confirmed cancellation returns status: failed and error: Canceled by user. Unsupported or completed tasks return 409 not_cancelable.

Quote

Same body as creating a generation. Returns every available provider sorted by price, plus the ones that cannot serve the request and why.

Errors

Check the HTTP status and error.message. Fix the request before retrying validation or authentication errors. A failed generation is reported in status and error on the task itself.

Suno V6 API FAQ

What is the difference between simple mode and custom mode?

In simple mode the prompt is a description of the song you want and Suno writes the lyrics and arrangement. Turn on custom_mode to send your own lyrics as the prompt and control title, style tags, negative tags and target duration.

How long can a Suno V6 song be?

In custom mode you can ask for 10 to 360 seconds. Duration is a target rather than a guarantee, and very short targets tend to come out around a minute. Without a duration, songs usually run a few minutes.

How many tracks does one request return?

Each generation normally returns two alternative tracks, each with its own cover image, so you can pick the take you like best.

Can I choose the singer's voice or make an instrumental?

Yes. Set instrumental to true for a track without vocals, or set vocal_gender to m or f. The vocal gender raises the odds of that voice but does not guarantee it.

How is Suno V6 billed on 01router?

Suno V6 is billed per generation, regardless of how long the song is. Requests run asynchronously: create a generation, then poll it until it succeeds. Failed generations are refunded automatically.
